Carbon footprint calculator

Jun 29, 2015

In our everyday life we are using natural resources directly (for example heating our flat with natural gas) and also indirectly (for example consuming food transported from big distances). Calculation of our carbon footprint is one way to show these in numbers. With this method we can estimate the amount of carbon-dioxide which is emitted by us when using fossil fuels directly and indirectly.  The main goal of carbon footprint calculators is to make us aware of the environmental effects of our everyday activities and encourage us to decrease these. The calculator elaborated during the Climate Park project has the same goal.

By filling in the short questionnaire (in 5 minutes) you can get a picture of your carbon footprint compared to the average and receive some advice ti improve that. The calculator is accessible in Hungarian and Slovakian language.
